She is the Founder and CEO of Buddy Learning, an award-winning EdTech company making quality tutoring and AI-powered learning more accessible across Africa. Through BuddyAI, the company provides multilingual, curriculum-aligned learning support through WhatsApp, helping learners overcome barriers linked to affordability, language and access.
About Tshaamano
My story began with a simple belief: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. In 2023, with only R50, a free Instagram page, no office, no investors and no roadmap guaranteeing success, I started Buddy Learning. What began as a small peer-tutoring initiative has grown into a youth-led education company creating employment for young people while helping learners receive academic support that is relatable, affordable and effective.
That is the story I am still writing.
